Toxic Relationships
I had some major problems following a break-up and Nikki seemed to be the only one who understood me and gave me the tools to change things
— Shannon

Unhealthy, toxic, or controlling relationships can leave deep emotional imprints, often affecting self-worth, identity, and long-term mental health.

These effects don’t always show up immediately, but can manifest over time through:

  • Anxiety

  • Low self-esteem

  • People-pleasing

  • Difficulty trusting yourself or others

  • Maladaptive coping strategies

A multi-disciplinary approach is key to healing. I use trauma-informed, person-centred support, combined with psychological tools, cognitive behavioural therapy, and techniques to understand and shift triggers and patterns.

Many of these tools also help transform how you relate to others and yourself.

Coaching and therapy
I had lots of underlying self sabotaging thoughts and beliefs and 1 by 1 Nikki had helped me recognise these and eliminate the ones that no longer serve me
— Shelley

I use a combination of NLP, Eriksonian and conversational hypnotherapy, timeline, parts, wholeness and inner child work, as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

The areas I typically work with include:

  • Trauma

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Limiting beliefs

  • Confidence

  • Digestion issues

  • Chronic pain, fatigue

  • Autoimmune conditions such as Raynaud’s and Psoriasis.

Change can take place in just one session, although I typically recommend three to six sessions for lasting change.

I offer well-being coaching and packages for continued or longer-term support.

Somatic therapy and nutrition
I thought I’d be divorcing my husband, but now we are rebuilding our relationship
— Anonymous

Sometimes, the body speaks louder than words. Translating this communication can involve working with the somatics and deciphering what needs to change.

  • Nutrition - chronic inflammation of the digestive track leading to anxiety or depression

  • Body-based trauma, needing to be released when talking doesn’t help

  • A dysfunctional relationship with oneself, leaking into relationships around you

This, and more, can be indicative of a somatic and nutritional-based approach.
