We found Nikki after months of trying to support our child’s anxiety ourselves and failing. Our once happy, outgoing child had developed a fear that was preventing them from living their life to the full and actually quickly becoming an issue that meant they struggled to leave the house, journeys were almost unbearable for us all, and bedtimes were a never-ending cycle of worry and tears. Nikki took her time to explain IEMT and her other approaches to me and then again to my child to reassure them that this would be ok and was worth a go. We embarked on a journey that included IEMT, but after each session, Nikki took feedback on board to tailor the next session to our child to make further progress.
After just 3 sessions, our child is now back to the child we used to know. This week they left for their school residential. A trip that they have spent a year telling us they definitely were not going on. With just one minor wobble in the run-up to the big day and a grin on their face as they walked through the school gates, I can honestly say I have never felt prouder of them for achieving this big step, and we will be eternally grateful to Nikki for her role in helping them to achieve this.

Autoimmune conditions can be an expression of the internal landscape of our emotional dysregulation.

After appropriate consultation and ruling out other contributory factors, this persistent acne was a manifestation of anger and suppressed expression.
